Sorry for the lateness of this blog. We have had a crazy busy week.
We studied the Olmec culture. We added drawing to our relic hunting sketchpads and sculpted Olmec heads. See our digital art wall HERE for finished products.
Head sculpture update: We had some issues with these. So new ones had to be made.
Here is GamerBoy working on his minecraft museum.
This week we spent some time learning about camouflage and species adaptations. As well, as predators and prey. We are using Apologia’s Exploring Creation: Land Animals of the Sixth Day.
This was a simulation, where candies were the prey, and the kids were the predators and they had to search through the prey’s habitat they made.
We have prepared our world map wall to track the locations of the animals we studied.
Also, we prepared the bases for our zoo model.
Craftster has started up his french classes and GamerBoy has started a class on jungle animals that helps with reading and printing at the Wilson Education Resource Center.
