Week 19

We had a really busy week but it was fun.

Flying Creatures:

We finished our intro to bugs and were able to add to our Insect zoo boxes. We made beetles . We give our thanks to Sandra Wilson of the Wilson Education Resource Center for the idea. See our useful links for a link to WERC.

We had a camouflage bug hunt. It was fun for the kids. We got the bugs from the library at the Wilson Education Resource Center.

We also worked on our bug box and made relaxer.

The Middle Ages:

We spent another week focusing food. This week was more about food you might see at a feast. We made Parmesan Pies, Asparagus, Stuffed Capons, and Gyngerbrede. The kids had a blast. See our Digital Artwall for the finished dishes.

Dr. Seuss Inspired Camp:

We attended a day long camp at the Wilson Education Resource Center inspired by the books by Dr. Seuss. It was awesome.

Stories included One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish; The Lorax; Fox in Socks; Bartholomew and the Oobleck; and others I can not remember.

Here is some of the thinks they made.

In Other News:

I am happy to report that next week, we will be able to finally start sharing what is the exciting news we have hinted at. Keep continue to pray for us as we begin the journey.
